Fear is the destructive energy in man-J.KrishnaMurti

One of the great Philosophers, profound contributor to hindu philosophy guru, saint we had in this century is Mr J.KrishnaMurti and his teaching is very clear, but a bit complex to thoroughly understand and practice. At least it appears so in the first instance, when you try to understand , in the land where the truth is taught with stories and parables. Jiddu Krishna murti, known as JK, was born on May 12,1895 . He was born in a brahmin family from Andhra Pradesh, India. Madam Annie Besant, who was head of Theosophical Society ,Madras identified the talent of this boy and adapted him from his parents to train him into a great leader to take up the legacy of the Theosophical Society after her. He grew up , educated in France and developed his theory about self realization. He claimed allegiance to no caste, nationality or relegion and was bound by no tradition. His teachings awaken us to free ourself of all fear, conditioning, authority and dogma through self-knowledge. This only will bring order and psychological mutation. Many scientists, philosophers from all over world were attracted from his teachings. Aldous Auxley, Scientist Bohm and so on were in the list of who is who that were influenced by his principles. At first glance his principle appears as a big reovolution against existing methods followed by all gurus, saints like christ, baba but , alas no! His method fits in the last slot of the 8 fold way suggested by Patanjali, or ancient Indian Knowledge. Hindu Philosophy recognised that ordinary , common man (who is conditioned) can not reach the self realization if we ask him to start with self enquiryHis mind and body should be pure and permit for sowing the seed of self inquiry. For that sake, the 8 fold way was shown. When you enter Dhyana, nidhi dhyasa stage, this JK prescribed method fits there, or you are on the way suggested by him. His teachings stress the fact that man has built in himself images as a fence of security—religious, political, personal. These manifest as symbols, ideas, beliefs. The burden of these images dominates man's thinking, his relationships, and his daily life. These images are the causes of our problems for they divide man from man His works: The Core of Teachings,The First and Last Freedom,Commentaries on Living, Series 1960 Life Ahead, 1963 Think on These Things, 1964 Conversations (booklet), 1970 The Only Revolution, 1970 Talks with American Students, 1970 The Impossible Question1972 You Are the World, 1972 The Awakening of Intelligence, 1973 Beyond violence, 1973 Beginnings of Learnings, 1975
